Why I need to get a happy bus #HappyBuskent

My dream is get the Happy Bus Kent – so that my self and team happy could go around different places in kent, delivering our happiness and wellbeing activties to help people feel good and take care of their mental wellbeing.
Our activities will inclue using arts and craft, drummming, singing,dancing and laughter yoga.
We will also deliver little bags of happiness to cheer up people who are nominated.
We also aim to collaborate with existing organisations in the area of happiness, and mental wellbeing so that we can sign post people to services available.
The happy bus will also do outreach to isolated communities as wel as taking part in major events aroumd kent where we will have our bus, and gazibo so that people can come and find out about our services as well as engage in some of the activities we put on.

I was so happy when  Jackie Lloyd who is my mentor bought  me a small toy bus which really helps me to see that my dream can true  very soon.  So if you know how I can do this, please feel free to contact me   genny @   confidentqueen. co. uk

How to start you day full of enthusiasm and passion

Sometimes, in life, we get tired of doing certain things especiallly when we feel we are being taking for granted or if we feel our efforts are not getting us the results we expect. This is all ok and part of life.

How to regain your get up and go for life:-

It all starts with what we tell ourselves.

This morning I woke up and my thoughts where to call in to work sick and just stay in bed. After a few minutes  in bed, I somehow heard my inner voice saying to me ,  “Staying at home moaning about my life is not an option. I am grateful for where I ‘m at, excited about where I am going. ”

I got up, made myself a hot drink of water and lemon to refresh me.

I then sat down to write this short blog  to share with you.

So, I encourage you to act today and takea small step towards changing something you are not happy with in your life.

It was just a horrible day!

My day started with my usual level of positivity and good vibes.


I went to the post office, but had to go back home as I had left my ID.

I then went to buy my weekly ticket and my debit card did not work. I tried to sort it our over the phone, but my mobile phone was dead but thankfully a young man made me use his phone and I eventually sorted things out.



I eventually got on the train, slept all the way and as I was getting off a lady was shouting at me, as she noticed I had left my glasses.


I eventually got to work feeling a bit exhausted, and for a treat I decided to get some cooked lunch from one of the many places I usually go to. I really enjoyed the food. I  went home that night and felt so ill, that i was vomiting all over the place.  I could not sleep as  I had bad stomach cramps.  The following day I managed to attend a quick meeting and rushed back home still feeling unwell.

On the positive side, I managed to have  some rest for two days.!

How to put on your Crown of Smiles #BlueMonday

Blue Monday

This  middle Monday  of January according to researchers is Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year which is  based on some scientific caluclations which takes into account things like the weather, the fact that we are recovering from christmas,  worrying about at our debts from overpsending at christmas etc.

As a happiness spreader, I really don’t like this idea of linking depression or sadness to a particualar day. I want to encourage you instead to try and make it a habit of having a reason to smile each day. Start with being grateful and thankful you are alive to see another day.



I created the idea of Crown of Smiles after recovering from  a period when I hit rock bottom, and  lost my smile, self esteem, and confidence.  I was very sad and depressed and at times felt like given up hope as I could not see the light at the end of the tunnel!


 When i rebuilt my life, I decided to use my experiences to help others feel happier. Crown of Smiles is also the name of my self help practical book about being happy with tips to help you develop  your self belief, and  recognizing  that from adversity can come creativity, confidence and clarity.  How to put on your Crown of Smiles

untitled1.   You can either make a crown of smiles, or you could just imagine you have an invisible Crown of Smiles.

2.    As you put on your Crown of Smiles on your head, imagine you have a jar of happy oil which is being poured over your head.

3.   As the oil goes through every part of your body, from the top of your head to the sole of your feet, imagine your body tingling as you experience inner joy which lightens up your face with a beautiful smile.

3.  You can mow  start to move your body doing your happy dance as you say say “WooHoo BoomBoom I feel good”.
